Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of patient and clinician-facing features.
- Build intuitive flows for intake, eligibility, visit scheduling, and follow-up.
- Integrate video, messaging, and asynchronous care into a cohesive telehealth experience.
- Develop tools to streamline clinicians' workflows and decision-making.
- Implement robust internal tools for patient support and care coordination.
- Design and maintain scalable APIs and data models for medical records.
- Collaborate with clinical and compliance stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Engage in product discovery and user feedback to shape product direction.
- Contribute to the engineering culture and mentor future engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack or backend-leaning engineer.
- Experience shipping and owning production systems in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in backend API design and frontend interface development.
- Strong focus on reliability, correctness, and safety in handling health data.
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Long-term thinking regarding system maintainability and scalability.
