  • Develop probabilistic ranking, guided path search, correlated-control-failure modeling, uncertainty bands, and calibration loops.
  • Lead zero-to-one production-scale engineering and establish architecture, design, code review, and engineering quality standards.
  • Define core metrics including entity-resolution accuracy and calibration quality, and determine what to reuse versus build net-new.
  • Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership across teams through influence.
  • Partner with product, security R&D, and SecOps to translate customer problems into architecture and actionable decisions.
  • Establish AI safety, security, governance, and policy guardrails for agentic systems in production.

  • Experience owning the technical architecture or leadership of a major system or work spanning multiple teams.
  • Hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered production systems, including probabilistic modeling, graph analytics, calibration, or evaluation.
  • Experience with modern AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic harnesses and workflows, model evaluation, or AI observability.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java, Go, or a similar language; expert-level Python is expected.
  • Command of distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native technologies, databases, data or graph systems, and scalable architectures.
  • Experience taking ambiguous problems from zero to one and delivering reliable production systems used by others.
  • Technical leadership, architectural judgment, and mentorship experience across teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Cybersecurity or security-product experience, or familiarity with modern security architectures and operations, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with attack-path analysis, vulnerability management, identity security, threat intelligence, or detection and response is preferred.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Windsurf is a plus.
  • Experience with AI evaluation, safety, governance, or policy guardrails is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $201,300-$352,300, plus equity when applicable and variable or incentive compensation.
  • Health plans including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, flexible time away, and family leave programs.
