Responsibilities
- Participate in development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the NCBI Taxonomy Information System.
- Collaborate with scientists, bioinformaticians, and developers to support the Taxonomy project.
- Learn new technologies and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science.
- 3 years+ of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and JavaScript.
- Experience working in a distributed computing environment.
- Programming experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience with relational databases, Microsoft SQL or similar.
- Experience with Linux shell scripts.
