Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright and maintainable design patterns.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end automated coverage across UI and API layers.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines so coverage runs continuously, including on pull requests.
  • Partner with architects, developers, product managers, delivery leadership, stakeholders, and Staff QA Automation Developers to define requirements, acceptance criteria, test plans, and automation priorities.
  • Use monitoring signals, incident reviews, customer feedback, and partner input to identify quality improvements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing for major projects, including new partner and client integrations.
  • Review and execute manual test cases, validate features against test plans, and incorporate appropriate scenarios into automated regression coverage.
  • Improve quality processes, documentation, team workflows, and standardized repeatable practices.
  • Use AI to accelerate test development and maintenance and share effective approaches with the team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud applications, with strong understanding of the full SDLC and Quality Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on test automation framework experience with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar tool, including authoring and maintaining end-to-end test suites.
  • Strong TypeScript and/or Go experience.
  • Experience with UI and API testing, including API validation tools such as Postman.
  • Knowledge of test architecture and scalable patterns including Page Object Model, data factories, and separation of concerns.
  • Automation-first experience with reliable coverage integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile fluency, comfort with rapid release cycles, and familiarity with test management platforms such as Allure TestOps.
  • Initiative, independent judgment, and ability to communicate the business impact of test gaps.
  • MySQL or similar relational database experience is preferred.
  • Experience building AI agents or applications that improve testing is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, banking, insurance, or other financial services environments is a nice-to-have.
