Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive unit test suites using test design, mocking, fixtures, and edge-case coverage.
- Establish and maintain static analysis tooling and enforce code quality standards across the platform.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated quality gates are effective and reliable.
- Drive testing practices across unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Debug complex issues using systematic approaches to isolate, reproduce, and resolve problems.
- Contribute Python and a second language, preferably JavaScript/Node.js, to platform quality initiatives.
- Support customers’ platform cases when needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of Python development experience focused on testing, debugging, and code quality.
- Demonstrated experience with unit test design, mocking, fixtures, coverage strategies, and edge-case handling.
- Hands-on experience with static analysis tools such as pylint, flake8, mypy, or SonarQube and with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to articulate trade-offs between test types and coverage strategies.
- Proficiency in a second programming language; JavaScript/Node.js experience is preferred.
- Systematic debugging skills for isolating, reproducing, and resolving complex issues.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and networking fundamentals is a plus.
