Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, efficiency, capacity, and stability of core storage and computing infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, analyze bottlenecks, and manage high-availability architecture transformations and upgrades.
- Build automated operational solutions for large-scale systems in partnership with system development teams.
- Design and implement software platforms and monitoring frameworks for automated service-oriented architecture governance.
- Establish delivery standards and monitor and budget infrastructure to optimize costs across millions of CPUs.
- Design new data centers and implement data protection plans to meet required standards.
- Define reliability standards and recovery standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related major.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Solid computer software fundamentals and understanding of Linux, storage, and network I/O principles.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, with knowledge of design patterns and coding principles.
- Preferred experience with storage systems and KV, Table, Graph, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, MQ, or Kafka.
- Preferred experience with computing and big data systems including Kubernetes, Docker/Containers, AIOps, Spark, Flink, Function as a Service, RPC Framework, or Service Mesh.
