Responsibilities

  • Debug software products using systematic tests and maintain quality standards.
  • Perform tests on software code and enhancements and develop, modify, and execute test plans.
  • Analyze and document test standards, procedures, and results to support debugging and software modification.
  • Analyze test results, recommend corrective action, and consult with development engineers to resolve problems.
  • Provide feedback for technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
  • Ensure quality computer integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members.
