Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, architecture, product, and QA teams across multiple squads.
- Design, implement, and maintain pipelines using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Build and manage scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Manage stable Dev, SIT, UAT, and Prod environments.
- Integrate and maintain code-quality and compliance tools including SonarCloud, Ruff, Black, and Pylint.
- Optimize Azure services for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Automate recurring processes and implement monitoring and observability to identify infrastructure and pipeline issues.
- Provide training, documentation, guidance, and mentoring to engineers while contributing to DevOps standards and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience supporting DevOps for Azure-based platforms at scale.
- Software development background with the ability to read other teams’ code for troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience building deployment pipelines and managing Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions workflows.
- Strong understanding of Azure App Services, Function Apps, Container Apps, and other cloud-native services.
- Experience with test automation and code-quality tool integration.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and influencing skills.
- Interest in environmental sustainability and CDP’s mission.

- £70,000–£80,000 annual salary.
