Base Salary
$158k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver large projects and new product capabilities while maintaining key code repositories.
- Design and implement end-to-end frontend solutions for large-scale features.
- Break down complex problems, resolve incident root causes, and support predictable delivery.
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps and strategies while balancing short- and long-term trade-offs.
- Profile and improve application performance, maintainability, availability, and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and ongoing support.
- Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features.
- Contribute to architecture, developer tooling, documentation, and production support through an on-call rotation.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical partners and apply sound user and business judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with one or more programming languages.
- At least 4 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience delivering large software projects or features in production.
- Experience with mobile app development and deployment lifecycles.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud-based services, including technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and Temporal.
- Preferred experience with AI technologies for software design and coding assistance.
- Preferred experience mentoring or onboarding junior engineers.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or scalable architectures is preferred.
- Experience with healthcare technology or regulated environments is preferred.
