Base Salary
$196k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain new Ads products and infrastructure across backend and frontend systems.
- Partner with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership to design, develop, and scale digital advertising features.
- Architect simple, maintainable systems that support rapid launches and iteration while maintaining technical quality.
- Promote coding and operational best practices and contribute to team learning and teaching.
- Own projects end to end, including requirements refinement, technical designs and specifications, implementation, launch, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Revenue Infrastructure, Core Tech, Machine Learning, and Data Science teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Strong product impact focus and ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, analysts, and engineers.
- Demonstrated ownership, autonomy, follow-through, and commitment to solving problems completely.
- Growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve.
- Ability to mentor engineers and provide guidance on system architecture, API design, data modeling, and tradeoffs.
- Bonus: expertise with Python and/or Rust, TypeScript, React, or React Native.
- Bonus: experience in advertising, familiarity with experimentation and analysis, open-source contributions, or interest in Discord.
