Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of new features within the Android/Kotlin platform.
- Define and champion engineering best practices and contribute to long-term architectural decisions.
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers, guiding technical design reviews.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable software with comprehensive test coverage.
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Champion the adoption of AI-native engineering practices within the Product Development Lifecycle.
- Identify emerging industry trends and prototype solutions to keep Okta ahead.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with a focus on Android and Kotlin.
- Deep expertise in building secure and high-quality Android applications.
- Extensive experience designing and securing APIs for large-scale mobile systems.
- Visionary-level expertise in Android architecture and security engineering.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI coding assistants to enhance the development lifecycle.
