Responsibilities
- Translate strategic business objectives into technical roadmaps with Product Management, Engineering Directors, and Principal Architects.
- Lead the design and implementation of Windows features and services from conception through deployment.
- Drive cross-functional delivery with Product, Design, and QA.
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers, guide technical design reviews, and raise engineering standards across the organization.
- Improve code standards, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and architectural practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, promote knowledge sharing, and prototype emerging device-security and AI-native development solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive software development experience designing and building Windows features with C++, C#, and the .NET framework.
- Deep expertise in Windows software environments, including performance optimization and security considerations.
- Experience with advanced Windows debugging, Win32 API, inter-process communication, Windows services, and secure credential handling.
- Understanding of automated testing and CI/CD in fast-paced agile environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
- Conceptual understanding of Windows security features and cross-platform contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: expertise in cryptography, endpoint security, TPM, MDM protocols, endpoint detection, IAM protocols such as FIDO and OIDC/OAuth, secure coding, or cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
