Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of network traffic management and scalable network operations solutions.
- Improve network performance through caching strategies and Points of Presence optimization.
- Develop high-performance applications using C/C++ and Go.
- Deploy and manage scalable systems using Kubernetes.
- Implement network security and observability measures to protect infrastructure and monitor system health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Contribute to open-source projects and patented technology development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in networking, traffic management, cyber security, or related areas.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Go, with experience in low-level Linux networking, Kubernetes, caching strategies, and distributed systems.
- Experience in large-scale environments and strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Envoy is preferred.
- Open-source contributions, relevant certifications, patent creation, and familiarity with Java are valued or beneficial.
