Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship performant, reliable, intuitive production AI agents.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Work directly with enterprise and startup leaders to understand business challenges and build AI-agent solutions.
- Develop agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, agent architectures, and voice-model integrations.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and creative obstacle-solving ability.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience deploying AI or LLM systems in production.
- Preferred familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- React, TypeScript, and/or Go experience is preferred.
- Founder or founding-engineer experience and prior external-stakeholder technical project leadership are preferred.
