Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and solution architecture for Shopify’s largest and most complex enterprise pursuits.
- Design secure, scalable, and operationally durable architectures for major retailers.
- Orchestrate integrated solutions across Shopify, ERP, OMS, CDP, payments, custom services, and ecosystem partners.
- Engage executives, guide technical decisions and tradeoffs, and drive measurable deal progress.
- Create reusable discovery models, solutioning frameworks, demo patterns, and other scalable assets.
- Lead solution reviews, internal forums, cross-team initiatives, and mentorship across the organization.
- Differentiate Shopify through competitive analysis, industry insights, and technical narratives.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in web technologies, APIs, integrations, data flows, Shopify architecture, scalability, and security.
- Experience designing and validating complex architectures and prototyping solutions when needed.
- Ability to communicate complex architectures and tradeoffs clearly to executive audiences.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration across Sales, Product, Partners, and merchant teams.
- Strategic and commercially minded approach to deal strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market alignment.
- Demonstrated ownership, judgment, ability to navigate ambiguity, and experience creating repeatable processes and frameworks.
