Responsibilities
- Own Autocomplete end-to-end, including product feel and model behavior.
- Build a real evaluation harness to track user experiences.
- Run tight experiment loops to measure and improve performance.
- Form strong opinions on model strategies and trade-offs.
- Work directly with model creators to test and implement upgrades.
- Ship constant improvements to enhance the autocomplete feature.
Requirements
- Experience building systems where small improvements matter.
- Ability to measure performance without self-deception.
- Strong product intuition combined with engineering skills.
- Capability to create quick prototypes and manage rollouts.
- Desire to be judged on outcomes rather than process.
