Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead to architect and deliver new payment features.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for high-volume payment and card transaction systems.
- Mentor junior team members and uphold code quality through pull requests.
- Work with a cross-functional team to maintain high technical standards across the product.
- Keep current with technology trends and share findings during Get Stuff Done Days.
Requirements
- Experience developing software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
- Kotlin experience is a plus.
- Sound understanding of microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
- Appreciation of modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
- Ability to collaborate, continuously learn, challenge the status quo, and provide and receive direct feedback.
