Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Productionize machine learning models and implement workflows for feature engineering, model versioning, experiment tracking, and model promotion.
- Deploy models using containerized and cloud-native architectures and monitor model performance, data drift, and system health.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management, and ensure repeatability, reproducibility, and traceability.
- Implement ML governance controls covering lineage, auditability, access control, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis for model and pipeline failures and implement long-term reliability fixes.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Security, GRC, Data Governance, and IT teams.
- Provide guidance, best practices, documentation, standards, and internal enablement for scalable model development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in MLOps, ML platform engineering, or ML deployment.
- Experience supporting production-grade machine learning systems.
- Strong systems and platform engineering mindset with advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating in cloud-based, distributed environments and translating research models into reliable production systems.
- Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of total engineering experience, real-time or near-real-time ML inference, model monitoring, drift detection, retraining automation, enterprise or regulated-environment experience, and relevant cloud or data/ML engineering certifications.
