Base Salary
$183k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver maintainable, backward-compatible backend APIs and services in Go.
- Contribute frontend and backend code in React, TypeScript, and Go to deliver full-stack product features.
- Lead complex technical projects spanning multiple teams, systems, and external dependencies.
- Define technical patterns and operational guidelines, mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and delegate work to multiply team impact.
- Collaborate with design and product partners on discovery, delivery, and technical and product roadmaps.
- Own software in production, participate in on-call rotations, debug issues across the stack, and address user pain points.
- Communicate clearly across disciplines and iterate based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Substantial experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems, APIs, and services in Go or similar languages.
- Professional experience delivering frontend features and full-stack software with React and TypeScript.
- Experience planning and delivering complex projects across multiple teams or systems.
- Ability to own projects end-to-end from planning through deployment, maintenance, and technical debt reduction.
- Track record of mentoring engineers, leading technical design reviews, and raising quality standards.
- Comfort working cross-functionally, adapting to changing priorities, and communicating clearly in written and verbal formats.
- Experience supporting software in production and participating in an on-call rotation.
- Interest in observability and production culture.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor is nice to have.
