Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a high-performance, responsive Progressive Web App across devices and low-connectivity environments.
- Implement offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and scalable front-end architecture.
- Own features end-to-end from ideation and design review through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design maintainable abstractions, improve large and legacy codebases, and balance performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers, lead by example, and advocate for clean code, strong testing, and disciplined engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to reduce repetitive work and focus on high-impact engineering problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building scalable, user-facing software.
- 4+ years of deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong architectural thinking, problem-solving skills, and comfort working in large, evolving codebases.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSX, modern HTML/CSS, and automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, domain modeling, and design patterns.
- Clear professional written communication and the ability to work effectively in an async-first environment.
- Mentorship mindset and willingness to make independent decisions.
- Preferred: strongly typed TypeScript, React Query or similar API integration libraries, mobile app development with Capacitor, Cordova, or React Native, and experience with Docker, AWS, and GitHub Actions.
