
Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Provide software development services in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
- Analyze information and recommend solutions to business and technical issues.
- Participate in team discussions and provide guidance and subject-matter expertise.
- Perform coding, unit testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions.
- Ensure expected application performance levels are achieved.
- Follow BNY’s standard development methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 10 years of hands-on software development experience with strong server-side Java 8 or higher proficiency.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Angular and front-end UI technologies.
- Experience with the Spring Framework and proficiency with Spring Boot.
- Strong coding and troubleshooting experience with web services and RESTful APIs.
- Strong messaging experience, preferably with IBM MQ.
- Strong SQL skills for work with relational databases.
- Experience with JavaScript, Angular 16 or higher, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cucumber.
- Experience with AI development tools such as Copilot or Windsurf.
- Strong experience with software development lifecycle and DevOps processes, including CI/CD tools and Git.
- Understanding of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Moogsoft.
- Knowledge of Scrum and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, learning, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies is preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
