Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer front-end solutions for enterprise applications using modern technologies and software design patterns.
- Write code and contribute to sprint goals, Agile/Scrum processes, and the broader technical community.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices, unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Partner regularly with stakeholders, UX, QA, and other engineering specialists.
- Develop subject-matter expertise, resolve issues, and contribute to technical and team standards.
- Provide technical thought leadership and coach or develop junior team members.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to align work with the broader technical strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer or developer using Angular or React.
- Multiple years of experience with modern front-end build tools such as npm, yarn, and gulp.
- Multiple years of experience with front-end testing strategies and frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, and Selenium.
- Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: exposure to service-oriented and microservices architectures, REST and GraphQL implementations, scalable and highly available applications, cloud infrastructure, cloud-native development, containers, API management, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security, observability, monitoring, and database concepts.
