Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, maintain, test, and enhance full-stack web applications supporting operational requirements.
- Document and validate web application requirements.
- Design and build web services and provide architectural and development support.
- Develop automated tests aligned with test plans.
- Participate in software design discussions and recommend relevant tools, technologies, and techniques.
- Refactor and update existing applications to add features and improve reliability and performance.
- Review application cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with software security requirements.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret or higher security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- At least three years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining full-stack web applications and software systems.
- At least two years of experience identifying and validating software application requirements.
- At least two years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular web UI components.
- At least two years of experience designing and building web services.
- At least two years of experience with Java EE/Jakarta EE integration, Servlets, and JDBC.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or an equivalent database and SQL queries.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, Java EE Streams and lambda expressions, the Collections framework, and exception handling.
- Preferred qualifications include four or more years of full-stack application experience, three or more years with web UI components and Java EE/Jakarta EE, three or more years building web services using JSON, two or more years with PostgreSQL or equivalent, and experience with OWASP, Coverity, SonarQube, software security compliance, and test-driven development.
