Responsibilities
- Partner with strategic customers to understand architectures, workflows, security requirements, and business objectives.
- Translate customer problems into scalable solution designs, reference architectures, and working prototypes.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production platform issues involving data ingestion, identity resolution, journey orchestration, and audience activation.
- Design and validate end-to-end enterprise solutions spanning AEP, RTCDP, AJO, and adjacent Adobe systems.
- Lead architecture workshops, health checks, and technical deep-dives with customers.
- Rapidly prototype, experiment, and iterate on new capabilities using AI-assisted development tools.
- Bridge customer needs, product direction, and engineering implementation while feeding field patterns into the product roadmap.
- Own the technical relationship with assigned accounts from discovery through implementation, go-live, and expansion.
Requirements
- Typically 8–15+ years of experience across solution architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing engineering roles.
- Demonstrated ability to connect customer problems and business goals with practical technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, validating, debugging, and iterating on enterprise architectures.
- Understanding of distributed systems, data integrity, graceful degradation, observability, and production behavior at scale.
- Experience operating across complex organizational, regulatory, and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, multi-system integration, data flows, identity resolution, and API design.
- Experience with cloud platforms, data ingestion, streaming pipelines, batch processing, data lakes, and production monitoring.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products including AEP, AJO, RTCDP, CJA, and Target.
- Preferred experience with CDP, MDM, martech, or other data platforms.
- Preferred background in regulated industries and familiarity with compliance and security constraints.
- Preferred experience with data governance, privacy-preserving computation, secure data collaboration, identity resolution, or customer data unification.
- Preferred experience with workflow orchestration such as Temporal or Step Functions.
- Track record of driving architecture decisions or technical strategy at a team or organizational level.
