Responsibilities
- Partner directly with strategic customers to understand architecture, workflows, security requirements, and business objectives.
- Translate customer problems into scalable solution designs, reference architectures, prototypes, and production implementations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production platform issues involving data ingestion, identity resolution, journey orchestration, and audience activation.
- Design and validate end-to-end enterprise solutions spanning Adobe Experience Platform, RTCDP, AJO, and adjacent Adobe systems.
- Lead architecture workshops, health checks, and technical deep-dives with customers.
- Prototype, experiment, debug, and iterate on new capabilities using AI-assisted development tools.
- Bridge customer needs, product direction, and engineering implementation while feeding field patterns into the product roadmap.
- Own technical relationships from discovery through implementation, go-live, and expansion.
Requirements
- Typically 8–15+ years of experience across solution architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing engineering roles.
- Demonstrated ability to connect customer problems and business goals to practical technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, validating, debugging, and iterating enterprise architectures.
- Understanding of distributed systems at scale, including data integrity, graceful degradation, observability, and production behavior.
- Experience navigating complex enterprise organizations, regulatory constraints, and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products such as AEP, AJO, RTCDP, CJA, or Target is preferred.
- Experience with CDP, MDM, martech, data platforms, regulated industries, data governance, privacy-preserving computation, secure data collaboration, identity resolution, or customer data unification is preferred.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal or Step Functions is preferred.
- Track record of driving architecture decisions or technical strategy at team or organizational level is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of 355,000 RON–514,000 RON for the Romania location, plus eligibility for Adobe’s Annual Incentive Plan; bonus is excluded from the salary figures.
