Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for UiPath automation and agentic programs, including agents, RPA workflows, integrations, data, and human-in-the-loop steps.
- Design agentic workflows using LLM decision-making, tool and function calling, context grounding, and deterministic fallbacks.
- Architect Document Understanding pipelines for extraction, classification, and validation, along with Python services integrating customer systems.
- Select appropriate GenAI and ML techniques, and define prompting, retrieval, grounding, guardrails, human checkpoints, and escalation paths.
- Deploy and operationalize AI agents in production customer environments, including APIs, data pipelines, and existing-system integrations.
- Advise customer stakeholders from engineers through executives and explain architecture, risks, and trade-offs.
- Set delivery standards and reusable patterns, conduct design reviews, mentor developers, and support delivery through hypercare.
- Provide field findings and reusable assets to inform product roadmaps and accelerators.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience using Python, C#, TypeScript, VB.NET, or comparable languages.
- 4+ years of experience building UiPath automation workflows, with knowledge of Orchestrator, Document Understanding, Action Apps, AI Center, and Insights.
- Experience with UiPath design patterns including Robotic Enterprise Framework, Document Understanding Framework, and orchestration processes.
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, or operating LLM-based agents and agentic workflows involving tool or function calling, RAG, multi-step orchestration, LangChain or LangGraph, and Model Context Protocol.
- Working understanding of prompting, grounding, hallucination, and controlling agent behavior in production.
- Customer-facing experience in forward-deployed, professional services, implementation, or consulting roles, including technical workshops and stakeholder management.
- Technical leadership across globally distributed teams, including strategy, mentoring, and best-practice development.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and fast end-to-end solutions across applications, APIs, and automation platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal English and ability to present architecture and delivery risks to executive stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
