Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the Groove platform for planning and collaboration.
- Design and deliver features like initiative tracking and planning workflows.
- Work across the stack using React, TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to create effective user experiences.
- Ensure system reliability through testing and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents.
- Improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex features across the stack.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building scalable fullstack applications.
- Comfortable with both frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and web application architecture.
- Strong ownership of software from implementation to production health.
- Ability to design systems and influence technical direction.
- Clear communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
- Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and sound engineering judgment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make thoughtful trade-offs.
- Passionate about mentoring and continuous learning.
