Base Salary

$250k - $413k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deliver, and provide post-launch support for scalable Finance and Tax technology solutions.
  • Work with Finance and Tax stakeholders to understand use cases and build end-to-end solutions.
  • Build and operate APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based services.
  • Drive features or components from requirements identification through production launch.
  • Collaborate with finance and engineering teams, solution architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop internal and external UI portals using JavaScript/TypeScript and React or similar frameworks.
  • Apply testing, debugging, observability, and quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong object-oriented programming and computer science fundamentals with experience writing efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Python or another object-oriented programming language, including concurrency, multithreading, performance tuning, and observability.
  • Experience designing and implementing gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs.
  • Strong relational database knowledge and experience with MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with GenAI and AI-assisted engineering tools, including validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks, QA processes, and shipping well-tested software.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or a similar front-end framework.
  • Understanding of finance domains such as revenue, payments, and tax.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, collaborate with business partners, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Annual salary plus the option to choose the mix of salary and stock options; the stated salary range is $250,000.00-$413,000.00.
