Responsibilities
- Define and drive testing strategy, quality standards, and best practices across functional, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual, exploratory, edge-case, and pre-release testing when automation is not practical or mature.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality into the development lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline.
- Plan, execute, and report on testing using metrics such as defect escape rate and test coverage.
- Evaluate and improve testing tools, frameworks, and processes as the platform scales.
- Lead defect management, including prioritization, tracking, and resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 1 year in a senior test role supporting large-scale e-commerce or high-volume consumer platforms.
- Experience leading testing strategies and quality initiatives for complex software platforms.
- Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework such as Maestro, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
- Experience with Maestro is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, DevOps, and distributed global teams.
- Strong spoken and written English, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
