Responsibilities
- Follow testing strategies and quality standards across functional, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing for new features, edge cases, and pre-release sign-off.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality into the development lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline.
- Plan, execute, and report on testing activities using quality metrics such as defect escape rate and test coverage.
- Evaluate and improve testing tools, frameworks, and processes as the platform grows.
- Lead defect management by ensuring issues are prioritized, tracked, and resolved.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Experience designing solution architecture and developing automated testing solutions for complex software platforms.
- Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework, such as Maestro, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
- Experience with large-scale e-commerce or high-volume consumer platforms is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and distributed-team skills.
- Strong written English communication skills and at least basic conversational spoken English.
