Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot development, test, and production environments.
- Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure and proactively resolve issues.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and configuration management initiatives.
- Participate in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Support containerized and cloud-based deployments.
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams in Agile environments.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve engineering productivity, automation, troubleshooting, and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, system administration, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, cloud platforms, operating systems, source control, databases, scripting, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Experience with Linux, Unix, Windows, Git, Oracle or PostgreSQL, and PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
- Interest in adopting emerging AI technologies and ability to discuss responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Splunk, ELK, EFK, Oracle, or DB2.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security concepts, cloud-native architectures, payment processing, financial services applications, card payment networks, and transaction processing is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, ownership, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience working within Agile development methodologies is desirable.
