Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize high-volume mainframe business logic.
- Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to improve code efficiency and mainframe performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions in mission-critical applications.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
- Develop scalable and robust software using Java and associated backend technologies.
Requirements
- Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Strong development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, GraphQL, Kafka, Spring Batch, and Apache Flink.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML, JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, containers, messaging queues, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
