Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality backend services and collaborate with frontend developers across the stack.
- Scale foundational platforms, web applications, distributed services, and enterprise-grade security solutions.
- Improve engineering excellence through high-quality code, documentation, testing, monitoring, and standard methodologies.
- Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions with product and R&D engineers.
- Identify and resolve backend performance bottlenecks and technical issues.
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing across distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining complex, enterprise-grade distributed systems.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Working familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React.
- Deep knowledge of API design, distributed architecture, asynchronous event-driven design, and data persistence patterns.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL stores, and caching systems.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable software design patterns.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with NestJS or similar Node.js server frameworks, AWS, container orchestration, and identity or security domains is advantageous.
