Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python services, APIs, integration layers, customer-specific logic, connectors, and automations.
- Build data ingestion, transformation, validation, and AI/ML workflow pipelines.
- Integrate ML pipelines, LLM components, retrieval systems, RAG workflows, embedding workflows, and NLP modules into customer environments.
- Collaborate with ML Engineers to productionize models and optimize performance.
- Configure and deploy implementation services on Azure, AWS, or GCP while ensuring reliability, observability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Own end-to-end technical implementation for enterprise accounts and translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide guidance on architecture, best practices, and scalable implementation patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, document workflows and troubleshooting playbooks, mentor junior team members, and contribute to internal tooling and automation.
- Scope work, sequence delivery, remove blockers, make delivery trade-offs, and codify reusable working patterns.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience.
- Strong Python coding experience and backend fundamentals, including microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with AI/ML/NLP pipelines, LLMs, or RAG-based applications.
- Experience with APIs, FastAPI, Flask, Django, and RESTful architectures.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Java, NLP or text processing, agentic implementation experience, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, startup or scale-up experience, open-source contributions, or technical writing experience.
