Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable software across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Investigate technical challenges and deliver solutions that balance quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Build automated tests and contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices.
- Improve existing systems by simplifying solutions, addressing technical debt, and enhancing software quality.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows, automation, and productivity while validating generated outputs.
- Own assigned work and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical challenges.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and contribute improvements across the Product Access platform.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Go, Rust, or Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate technical challenges independently.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted development methods and tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent technologies.
- Understanding of software design, testing, debugging, and maintainability fundamentals.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience developing cross-platform desktop software for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Preferred: experience with large established codebases, automated testing, CI/CD practices, source control, code reviews, and technical discussions.
