Base Salary
$100k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables within technical domains.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology solutions.
- Deliver reusable test automation frameworks, reference implementations, and direct engineering support to delivery teams.
- Drive adoption of modern testing tools and practices and improve software delivery quality and efficiency.
- Design and implement automated test solutions integrated into CI/CD using Selenium, Playwright, and/or Karate.
- Review and resolve technical challenges, lead projects, and act as an escalation point for delivery teams.
- Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff and collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers.
- Contribute to strategy planning and support risk, compliance, governance, and escalation requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 4+ years of Java/J2EE experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test solutions into CI/CD using Selenium, Playwright, and/or Karate.
- Experience as a technical leader or subject matter expert in test automation or quality engineering is desired.
- Experience with enterprise test management and traceability tools such as Octane or similar platforms is desired.
- Expertise in HyperExecute test orchestration, including parallelization, test execution optimization, artifact management, and CI/CD integration, is desired.
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and using cloud execution platforms such as HyperExecute is desired.
- Knowledge of risk-based testing, test traceability, and quality governance practices is desired.
- Experience modernizing or migrating legacy automation solutions to contemporary frameworks is desired.
- Background in large-scale, highly regulated, or risk-sensitive technology environments is desired.
