Base Salary
$70k - $94k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute testing strategies for application migration, modernization, and technology remediation programs.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI, API, integration, system, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Validate functionality, performance, and business processes following WebSphere migrations and modernization efforts.
- Build and execute automated test suites using Selenium, Java, TestNG, REST API automation tools, and modern testing frameworks.
- Support test data management, environment validation, release certification, and deployment verification.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development teams on Shift-Left testing and quality engineering practices.
- Lead defect triage, quality reviews, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, quality metrics, reporting, testing governance, and release readiness assessments.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing, test automation, or quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG or JUnit, REST API testing, Rest Assured, Postman, and automation framework development.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of test data management and environment management processes.
- Experience in defect management, root cause analysis, and quality reporting.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
