Responsibilities
- Build modular, hierarchical multi-agent architectures using CX Agent Studio and programmatic Code Agents.
- Develop custom backend logic, data transformation scripts, Python or TypeScript tool callbacks, and agent integrations.
- Use GECX engineering CLI workflows, uv environments, cxas tooling, static linting, semantic validation, and version-controlled deployment processes.
- Author generative playbooks and structured agent instructions with custom tool and sub-agent routing hooks.
- Integrate Code Agents with databases, product catalogs, CRMs, Genesys, Avaya, MCP services, and OpenAPI webhooks.
- Create automated golden-scenario tests, simulation evaluations, and multi-turn trajectory checks to prevent hallucinations and regressions.
- Deploy and support low-latency audio-to-audio voice agents and integrations with telephony or CCaaS environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent practical experience alternative.
- At least 3 years of experience building conversational AI solutions, virtual agents, or programmatic AI workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js and experience with JSON payloads, RESTful APIs, and cloud-hosted webhooks.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows, command-line interfaces, and software versioning or deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Google GECX Code Agent tooling, including cxas-scrapi, workspaces, SDKs, or Python-based agent foundries.
- Technical understanding of Dialogflow CX, CX Agent Studio, or comparable stateful conversational frameworks.
- Experience deploying streaming, low-latency audio-to-audio voice agents and integrating SIP/RTP or CCaaS partner environments.
- Understanding of prompt-engineering safety protocols, blocklists, fallback behaviors, and callback hooks.
- Experience using BigQuery or Google Cloud Logging to extract conversation traces, search transcripts, and build performance metrics.
