Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and implement risk algorithms using Generative AI foundational models to validate market behavior and extract intelligence from chat and voice data.
- Develop production-grade Generative AI solutions using prompt engineering, token usage optimization, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable end-to-end backend systems and high-performance APIs on Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Evaluate emerging Generative AI techniques and deliver features across a platform with hundreds of controls.
- Produce unit-tested, code-reviewed, continuously integrated software and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ship platform capabilities and support system reliability.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience applying Generative AI foundational models in production, including prompt engineering and token usage optimization.
- Deep professional experience developing scalable, high-performance backend systems in Python.
- Practical Kubernetes experience for deploying and operating backend platforms.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver across multiple workstreams.
- Financial services, banking, trading workflows, market data, financial risk, or conversational data experience is beneficial.
- Strong communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills are beneficial.
