Responsibilities
- Serve as a platform proxy for product teams by understanding needs, unblocking shared concerns, and coordinating cross-team technical decisions.
- Contribute to, review, and improve the shared backend orchestration service while maintaining its reliability and documentation.
- Build and maintain shared projects such as the back office across frontend and backend layers.
- Provision, configure, and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
- Improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for fast, stable, and repeatable delivery.
- Set up and refine monitoring, alerting, and dashboards with Grafana.
- Write clean, well-tested code and promote quality and reliability practices.
- Support and mentor engineers across product teams on platform practices, infrastructure, and architectural patterns.
Requirements
- Solid fullstack experience with TypeScript and Node.js, including production service ownership.
- Frontend development capability with React; React Native experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL for API design and data querying; Apollo experience is a plus.
- Hands-on MongoDB experience, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization at scale.
- Experience with GCP services and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Google Pub/Sub or similar systems.
- Experience with Grafana or equivalent observability tools.
- Testing discipline covering unit, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and pragmatic decision-making skills.
