Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Assess existing DevOps processes, tools, and practices and recommend improvements.
  • Design, present, and implement DevOps solutions for Salesforce implementations.
  • Select and implement DevOps tools and technologies.
  • Lead DevOps design sessions and document best practices.
  • Develop and enforce DevOps frameworks and governance models.
  • Provide oversight and governance for Salesforce projects.
  • Ensure successful continuous delivery deployments across environments.
  • Support pre-sales discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce product teams on client implementations.
  • Use AI coding assistants to support Salesforce Field Service, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, mobile applications, and integrations.
  • Travel to client sites as needed, estimated at 50–75%.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of CRM experience, including at least 8 years on the Salesforce platform.
  • Expertise with Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, Industries (Vlocity), and Data Cloud products.
  • Knowledge of environment management, release management, version control, branching strategies, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce Development Lifecycle technologies including Metadata API, Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience with Salesforce sandbox management, source-driven development, change sets, unlocked packages, and managed packages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Copado, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.
  • Experience with version-control systems including Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Azure Repos.
  • Experience with Chef, Docker image building, orchestration, and pipelines.
  • Experience with test automation tools including Provar, TOSCA, TestNG, Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit, JMeter, and ApexUnit.
  • Experience managing code-quality tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and PMD.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain them after hiring.
  • Practical fluency with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
