Responsibilities
- Audit current provider and facility discovery architecture for gaps in search precision.
- Build relationships with product, design, and data engineering teams.
- Deliver search optimizations for high-traffic lookup scenarios.
- Design and launch geospatial search capabilities using Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
- Extend entity resolution pipelines to reduce duplicate records.
- Own the async data ingestion pipeline for critical data sources.
- Act as the code repository maintainer for search and knowledge graph services.
- Drive technical strategy balancing search relevance, latency, and cost.
- Integrate AI technologies for automated entity matching.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
- Strong understanding of geospatial search and entity resolution.
- Proficiency in modern backend languages like Golang, Python, or Java.
- Experience with cloud-based services such as gRPC, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS.
