Responsibilities
- Own, develop, implement, administer, deploy, and operate Allstate’s cloud application development and hosting platforms.
- Build and maintain self-service tools that enable developers to build, deploy, and operate cloud-native applications.
- Provide GenAI expertise across Azure and AWS, including product briefings, demonstrations, proof-of-concept projects, and solution collaboration.
- Recommend cloud integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, application infrastructure, and migration paths across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Advise consumers on incorporating AI accelerators into broader cloud strategies and help resolve technical objections and blockers.
- Define and champion engineering frameworks and automation practices using Terraform.
- Maintain and enhance the existing Terraform codebase.
- Split time between platform operations, customer requests, and engineering automated solutions; coach junior team members and present technical ideas.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and the open-source AI ecosystem.
- Experience with Azure application and AI services.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock is preferred.
- Experience with Vertex AI is preferred.
- Knowledge of consuming large language model and foundation model APIs.
- Experience developing with Terraform, including familiarity with Tofu or Env0.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, generative AI, agentic AI, and Python.
