Responsibilities
- Build and manage infrastructure, cloud platform capabilities, and deployment pipelines using modern DevOps and cloud-native practices.
- Create and maintain GitLab pipelines for Java and Angular/React applications.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate operational processes and improve system resilience.
- Manage OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerized application environments.
- Monitor availability, performance, scalability, and resource usage, and respond to outages and disruptions.
- Set up alerting and monitoring tools and implement performance-tuning and observability practices.
- Integrate CI pipelines with vulnerability-scanning and code-analysis tools.
- Manage non-production environments across containerized applications, Linux, and Windows.
- Raise change records and coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, and platform engineering teams.
- Partner with development and platform teams to ensure reliability, scalability, controls, governance, and production readiness.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience creating GitLab pipelines for Java and Angular/React applications.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and related containerization technologies.
- Hands-on expertise in YAML, Go, Groovy, and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience setting up alerting and monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Grafana, Observe, and AppDynamics.
- Knowledge of integrating CI with vulnerability-scanning tools such as Wiz and Prisma, and code-analysis tools such as SonarQube.
- Knowledge of Chef and Jenkins management.
- Experience managing non-production environments across containerized applications, Linux, and Windows.
- Ability to manage change records and collaborate with infrastructure, middleware, and platform engineering teams.
- Ability to apply risk and controls, change and transformation, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills.
- Ability to lead collaborative assignments, communicate complex information, influence stakeholders, and advise on complex issues.
