Responsibilities
- Develop and scale robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Build high-performance APIs and contribute to microservices architecture.
- Develop and integrate React-based frontend applications.
- Support the vision and guide engineering teams across strategic priorities.
- Partner with product, UX, IT, data, emerging technology, innovation, and process engineering teams to deliver digital products.
- Support software development strategy and create implementation roadmaps based on business requirements.
- Help resolve delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with engineering initiatives.
- Recommend solutions to business partners that meet strategic business needs.
- Contribute to cloud-native, distributed, real-time, automated, and personalized digital experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s or PhD in computer science or engineering preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant software development experience.
- At least 3 years as a senior software engineer working on scalable distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python, with experience in additional programming languages.
- Experience building APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with React.js and preference for full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and cloud-specific PaaS/SaaS solutions.
- Experience with high-throughput, cloud-native distributed systems and strong knowledge of design patterns.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.
