Responsibilities
- Develop and support business tasks for a highload project serving up to 200k requests per second.
- Work on infrastructure tasks and search for solutions to improve system scalability.
- Profile and optimize PHP and Go code and solutions.
- Design and implement REST APIs.
- Write and maintain unit, functional, and API coverage tests.
- Work with sharding and replication concepts to support scalable systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in PHP or Go development.
- Proficiency in PHP and MySQL; the project currently uses PHP 8.2.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Understanding of unit and functional testing, including the ability and willingness to write tests.
- Practical experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing PHP or Go code.
- Understanding of data structures and how to select the appropriate structure for a task.
- Understanding of sharding and replication principles, advantages, and tradeoffs.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, microservices, or Golang is a plus.
