Responsibilities
- Work on infrastructure tasks for a high-load product.
- Profile, debug, optimize, and scale PHP and Go solutions.
- Design and implement REST APIs.
- Write unit, functional, and API coverage tests.
- Develop microservices in Go and support event-sourcing initiatives using Kafka.
- Evaluate scaling solutions, sharding, replication, and data structures for complex engineering problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in PHP and Go development.
- Fluent knowledge of Go, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Understanding of unit and functional testing, with the ability and willingness to write tests.
- Practical experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing PHP and Go code.
- Understanding of sharding and replication, including their advantages and disadvantages.
- Ability to select appropriate data structures for specific problems.
- Experience with microservices, Elasticsearch, and Redis is preferred.
