Responsibilities
- Build tools, infrastructure, and frameworks that enable ML Engineers to iterate autonomously and deliver production-ready ML products.
- Own ML CI/CD and adapt existing frameworks to ML-specific requirements.
- Enable production model monitoring, troubleshooting, iteration, and refinement.
- Build robust, reproducible, and scalable environments for internal experimentation and production A/B testing.
- Deliver MLOps building blocks using MLflow, Kubeflow, and KubeRay.
- Manage GPU infrastructure dynamically, including GPU scarcity during large-scale training runs.
- Address technical debt and establish foundations for future ML projects.
- Act as a technical mediator between ML and Backbone teams.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, post-mortems, and level-one failure analysis.
Requirements
- Solid MLOps or DevOps background with production projects shipped.
- Expertise with GCP, including Vertex AI, GKE, GCS, and BigQuery.
- Production Kubernetes experience and familiarity with GitOps; FluxCD is preferred and ArgoCD is accepted.
- Hands-on experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, and KubeRay.
- Experience managing GPU infrastructure and GPU scarcity at scale.
- Strong Python skills and expected Bash experience; Go or Rust is a plus.
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, Helm, Prometheus, Datadog, and Looker.
- Understanding of data lifecycle management, including cost, security, and encryption.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, and Dust.
- French and English fluency.
- Jupyter Notebooks, broader ML/AI ecosystem knowledge, Airflow, Dataflow, Kestra, Redis clusters, and infrastructure performance optimization are nice to have.
