Base Salary
$250k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure architecture for AI agent workloads.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using modern IaC tools like Terraform.
- Optimize system performance and cost efficiency for high-throughput workloads.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to maintain 99.9%+ uptime.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines and zero-downtime deployments.
- Build security-first infrastructure with proper access controls and compliance frameworks.
- Work in fast, iterative cycles focusing on continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and scaling production infrastructure, preferably in high-growth startups.
- Experience with SRE monitoring and observability tools like Datadog.
- Proficiency in Python and infrastructure automation scripting.
- Experience with PostgreSQL performance optimization and database scaling strategies.
- Strong Linux system administration skills and understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of FastAPI and Python web frameworks for backend infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud deployment best practices.
- Experience with Docker containerization and orchestration.
- Security-minded approach with experience in network security and compliance.
- Ability to thrive in high-agency environments and take initiative.
