Responsibilities
- Implement new cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code and develop automation scripts.
- Deploy updates and support day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations.
- Provide Level-3 technical support and investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Build tools that reduce errors and improve user experience.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production errors.
- Design troubleshooting and system-maintenance procedures.
- Create and maintain documentation for provided tools and solutions.
- Recommend improvements to the security, performance, and scalability of existing environments.
- Potentially participate in on-call support in the future.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience as a developer or systems administrator in a Linux environment.
- At least 7 years of experience using Jenkins and Git.
- At least 5 years of experience with external cloud providers; AWS, GCP, and Azure knowledge is an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience with configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Progress Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Bash and Python scripting.
- Strong understanding of networking and infrastructure setup in a public-cloud environment.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, APIs, and SDKs.
- Experience with multiple database types, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly, manage multiple priorities, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work with colleagues across teams and studios.
- Fluent English is required; French is an asset.
- Agile experience, cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Docker and container-orchestration experience, large-volume data application experience, and Elasticsearch or Grafana experience are assets.
