Responsibilities
- Implement tools and automations that facilitate product squads’ evolution.
- Review software development practices, provide feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the organization’s technology and transformation roadmap.
- Provide training on new tools and practices from Intact and the broader industry.
- Monitor relevant technological developments and assess their applicability.
- Explain complex concepts and solutions in approachable steps.
- Mentor product squads and serve as a close contact for their technical leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of industry experience.
- Successful track record in a similar technical leadership role.
- Passion for technology, continuous improvement, and understanding the tools, frameworks, and languages used.
- Interest in current industry trends and a clear vision for evolving software engineering practices.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment.
- Quebec-based candidates must be bilingual because of regular interaction with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.
